The initial identified engravings in Tamil date back to about 500 BC. Tamil literature started to seem in 300 BC and the linguistic used till the 700 AD acknowledged as Old Tamil. From 700-1600 AD the linguistic known as Middle Tamil, and since 1600 the linguistic has been known as Modern Tamil. Moreover, Tamil originally engraved with a form of the Brahmi lettering known as Tamil Brahmi.
Furthermore, by the 5th century AD this lettering had become more curved and developed into the Vaṭṭeḻuttu lettering. And Through the 19th century the Tamil lettering abridged to make it calmer to typeset. Additional simplifications in the 20th century included the regularization of vowel indicators.
First of all, there are 247 letters in Tamil language. Also, this contains 13 vowels and 18 consonants. Subsequently, the lasting letters are consonantal vowels which are the combinations of these vowels and consonants.
